{"id":2992,"date":"2019-06-22T18:24:32","date_gmt":"2019-06-22T22:24:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/consentidosocial.com\/?p=2992"},"modified":"2019-06-23T22:46:55","modified_gmt":"2019-06-24T02:46:55","slug":"embajador-antonio-varga-diserta-en-panel-negociaciones-post-cotonu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/consentidosocial.com\/en\/2019\/06\/22\/embajador-antonio-varga-diserta-en-panel-negociaciones-post-cotonu\/","title":{"rendered":"UE-RD: cooperaci\u00f3n para el desarrollo sostenible"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.<\/strong>&#8211; El director general de Cooperaci\u00f3n Multilateral (DIGECOOM), embajador Antonio Vargas Hern\u00e1ndez, expuso en el panel \u201cNegociaciones Post Coton\u00fa\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En ese escenario, plante\u00f3 que\u00a0la cooperaci\u00f3n al desarrollo debe tener continuidad para todos los pa\u00edses de \u00c1frica, Caribe y Pacifico (ACP) independientemente de la clasificaci\u00f3n de renta media de algunos de sus miembros, para apoyar los esfuerzos de las naciones para alcanzar los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible definidos en la Agenda 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Vargas Hern\u00e1ndez consider\u00f3 que el nuevo acuerdo de cooperaci\u00f3n deber\u00e1 estar alineado con las realidades actuales de los pa\u00edses en desarrollo ACP y estar anclado en la implementaci\u00f3n de la Agenda 2030 y sus objetivos de desarrollo Sostenible.<\/p>\n<p>Esta actividad se enmarca dentro del conversatorio sobre \u201cPerspectivas de las relaciones Rep\u00fablica Dominicana-Uni\u00f3n Europea en el contexto regional, llevada a cabo en el Centro de Convenciones del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores.<\/p>\n<p>Durante su intervenci\u00f3n, Vargas Hern\u00e1ndez afirm\u00f3 que los 1000 millones de pesos que en t\u00e9rminos cuantitativos han significado los 30 a\u00f1os de relaciones de cooperaci\u00f3n entre la Uni\u00f3n Europea y la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, han servido de apalancamiento del desarrollo sostenible e inclusivo del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>El tambi\u00e9n Ordenador Nacional de los Fondos Europeos para el Desarrollo, dijo que esos recursos han sido destinados al apoyo de iniciativas que han contribuido a la profundizaci\u00f3n del di\u00e1logo pol\u00edtico, con impacto significativo en el orden institucional, social, econ\u00f3mico y ambiental en beneficio del desarrollo del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Agreg\u00f3 que la cooperaci\u00f3n de la Uni\u00f3n Europea tambi\u00e9n ha contribuido, en el marco del CARIFORO, a profundizar las relaciones con los dem\u00e1s pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n, y\u00a0 de manera particular ha ayudado a fortalecer los lazos de colaboraci\u00f3n entre Hait\u00ed y Rep\u00fablica Dominicana en promoci\u00f3n del di\u00e1logo, comercio, medioambiente, educaci\u00f3n, entre otras \u00e1reas.<\/p>\n<p>Al citar algunos ejemplos de cooperaci\u00f3n con el Caribe, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que en el tema de seguridad se firm\u00f3 un memor\u00e1ndum de entendimiento entre la Agencia de Seguridad del Caribe (IMPACS) y el pa\u00eds, y de igual modo se ha apoyado el compromiso de impulsar el Plan de Acci\u00f3n de la Estrategia de Crimen y Seguridad (SICA-CARIFORUM).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Santo Domingo, Rep\u00fablica Dominicana.&#8211; El director general de Cooperaci\u00f3n Multilateral (DIGECOOM), embajador Antonio Vargas Hern\u00e1ndez, expuso en el panel \u201cNegociaciones Post Coton\u00fa\u201d.
